We are First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, founded in 1903.

We are a traditional Southern Baptist Church voluntarily associated with the Maury Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message in our doctrine.

As an autonomous body of believers, we operate under the Lordship of Jesus Christ as our head. We mutually agree to conduct our affairs according to Constitution and By-Laws of our church, including our Church Covenant (click here).
